Today, I went to my weekly AA meeting. It was a huge crowd and I was the guest speaker. Not 5 minutes into my speech, I was booed off stage and banned from further attendance because I accidentally wore a Jack Daniel's shirt. FML

I'm assuming OP is a guy, and if he's like most guys I know, he put no thought into what he wore that day. He grabbed the first clean shirt in his drawer, put it on, and went. I know if I want my boyfriend to have any variety and actually cycle through the shirts he has I have to arrange them in his dresser every time I do laundry, or else he'd wear the same 7 shirts over and over.

Similar happened to me, except I wore a shirt that said, "we will get along a lot better when you just realize, I'm the boss. It was to an anger management course when I was 18 or 19. Needless to say, they didn't find any amusement in it.

This is tough cause on one hand I feel like you deserve it for still wearing the shirt or having it. If it's sentimental-frame it or something. On the other hand I feel like they should be a more compassionate lot. What if you only have four shirts or maybe less. They don't know. They shouldn't judge. But then again you should be more aware. Good luck. Don't give up.
