Today, my friend and I went to a really expensive restaurant. We got really bad service, so halfway through the meal we decided to dine-and-dash. Turns out I left my purse in the restaurant. With my I.D. and everything inside. FML

Today, I went to eat out. When I sat down, I realized I forgot my straw. I took my purse with me, not wanting it to get stolen. Someone stole my food instead. FML

Today, some friends and I went to IHOP. We joked about not having enough money, and as it turns out we were $5 short. We put down what we had and left. Upon getting to the car, I realized I'd forgotten my phone, and had to go back. I made eye contact with our waitress, our money in her hand. FML

Today, I went out with a friend to grab some food and we were served by this really cute and fun waiter. Stepping out of my comfort zone and deciding to do something crazy, I left my phone number on the bill. I got home only to realize that I forgot to pay the bill. FML

Today, after an amazing date with a girl I like at a restaurant, I realized I foolishly forgot my wallet. When I returned, I spotted my date at another table on a date with a different guy. I also wasn’t able to find my wallet. FML

if the service was really that bad, why didn't you just ask to speak to the manager? in what universe is it ever okay to dine and dash? also, like someone else said, no tip doesn't tell them they were a crappy server... a 5 cent tip tells them you remembered to tip but they weren't worth your money... i hope they prosecute you for this.

Funny story.. when you dine and dash your server is responsible for paying you bill. so you're service was bad...maybe that server lost a family member and was distracted. If you feel strongly don't leave a tip. Dont stick the server with the bill..the restaurant doesnt absorb the cost, the server does.
