Tech support guys are usually on a time table. If one call takes excessively long then it screws up their quota and they get in trouble. So I can see why he got pissed because you couldn't figure out how to do something as simple as download a few files after an hour of trying. Don't blame the tech support guys, blame the system.
I work for a school's tech support (I'm a student there too) and you people piss me off. Learn to use a ******* computer. YDI.
