How many idiots are going to post this every time someone gets fired? The OP can't. A boss can fire you for any reason at all or for no reason at all. The only time you could sue for being fired is if you were fired because of discrimination.

That depends on where you are... The US does seem to get the majority of asshole bosses though and there protection varies from minimal to non-existent.

Lol I've grammar Nazi'd IRL before. My mom used the wrong form of affect/effect on a presentation for work, and I pointed it out.
