Today, while spooning my spouse, I was awakened in the wee hours by a huge, junk-rattling fart. This has happened numerous times since she became a vegetarian. FML

67, Speak for yourself. I'm a vegetarian myself, and have seen my friends and family members make the transition as well. It happened to all of us. The digestive system just needs time to adjust. Eating real yogurt with live bacteria will get rid of any gas right away.

She may also have IBS, I have IBS and it took me quite some time to get the vegetarian diet right since there's so many things I can't eat.
