Today, my fiancée got out of the shower, completely shaved. I went over to her, wrapped her in a hug and asked her what the occasion was. She pulled away and said that she had a gyno appointment. My fiancée will clean up for the gyno, but not for me. FML

It's uncomfortable to go to the gyno in the first place. When you're a girl, there are always so many things you worry about. Cleaning herself down there, might help ease her worries a bit. And so what if she doesn't clean up for you. It means she's comfortable being around you and being herself.

Shaving that area is time-consuming and results in painful and itchy regrowth whatever the razor and however much shaving gel and aftercare you use. Waxing is just as painful. She probably shaved herself for the gyno because she was afraid of being judged, as our culture these days is obsessed with removing natural pubic hair, even though gynos have seen it all. It's just scary showing that to a stranger. Take it as a compliment that she's not afraid of being judged like that by you. :) Pubic hair is a symbol of maturity and can be very sexy. Each person should do with theirs what's most comfortable, be it nothing, trimming, removing some, or removing it entirely.

To the women saying that men need to do the same I do. Let's put it this way, when you're giving a guy a ******* do you want a mouth full of pubes? I don't think so. I expect the same courtesy from my girlfriend. As for shaving, I bic the bastard so I have a little trimmed patch. Not full blown shaved but enough hair that is nicely trimmed. Sure sweat can agitate it and give you those pimple things but I feel cleaner when I don't have sasquatch in my pants. I think girls look sexier when they shave down there and I wouldn't expect their men to be any different if they expect their women to be shaved. Just give over yourselves about feeling comfortable more natural for her man. If he is having a problem with it he's probably like me and doesn't like licking the pink taco to come up with black pubes rolling around in his mouth. Plus friends of mine said they've been grossed out when women are full blown "au natural". Take what I say with a grain of salt but seriously this whole debate is retarded. IF you don't want to shave that's fine, I just hope that you have men in your lives that don't shave also so when you're going down on your man that you get a nice full mouth of pubes to gross you out. I know for one that I like it trimmed and not feeling like I'm pushing my face into a pube afro.

You're about as bad as my ex! I'd have sex with him, do a bit of cuddles, and then shower. Ex got it in his head that it was perfectly acceptable ofr him to come in with me so we could go at it again. Um, no. Showers are the one and only place I have to myself - literally. The 'mmm, you're all nice and clean, I just can't help doing you all over again" wtf? I didn't shower just so I coul dhave man-scent all over me again. It's similar to you assuming that she shaved just for you. Just as stipid to assume some girl wore tight pants and a halter top just for you. Blech can't people leave others alone for their personal place?
